University of North Texas
As the managing editor for the North Texan, I lead all aspects in the publication of the alumni magazine for the University of North Texas, one of the largest public universities in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. I assign, write and edit articles, working with our stakeholders to find great stories that show how the alumni’s education at UNT made a difference in their lives and in others’ lives. I make sure other writers, photographers and designers have turned in assignments that meet our goals. I also play a role in many aspects of other university communications – managing the North Texan’s X/Twitter account, sending out email blasts and editing marketing materials.
